The Advocacy Project (AP) was founded in June 1998 at the request of the NGO’s coalition for an International Criminal Court (CCI). During the conference in Rome, the coalition outlined a statute for International Court and an on-line bulletin for the conference was made and was sent out to members all over the world.

AP’s mission is to support the lawyers that work for social justice and human rights in the community. Their goal is to get the people involved so that they may find their voice and exercise their rights to defense the way they want to and with the appropriate help from the government and international community. Today AP has partners in 18 countries.

From the start, the project has tried to promote the use of TIC through the lawyers within the community. Also, AP has helped 14 partner organizations build or develop their own web page since 2000. They have also helped in getting hardware, funds and building the TIC program. In this job, AP has designed a training system for TIC known as eRiding.

AP also offers its partners other services such as TIC consulting available for email or Skype; help with designing and developing Web pages. Everything will benefit the establishment of a social network between different members.
