The agenda is now ready for the XX Voluntary Service World Conference in Panamá

The XX Voluntary Service World Conference will take place in Panamá from April 2 -5 next year under the heading of " Voluntary Service for the Development of Mankind: More Solidarity, less Poverty"

Hosting the Event is the Young People's Christian Association (YMCA), which has stressed that this event offers volunteers from all over the world the opportunity to exchange experiences and at the same time enables them to enrich their own lives with the lives of others.

This event is organised by the International Association for Voluntary Effort (IAVE), the only non-governmental organisation that for 40 years has been promoting, championing and building up voluntary work throughout the world. IAVE has both individual and corporate members in some 80 countries.

The host country, Panama, welcomes everybody and has promised that those attending will meet volunteers from all over the world. In Panama they guarantee that this congress will be unforgettable!

The conference agenda has already been published on the IAVE site and includes workshops, seminars, a young people’s forum, field visit, visits to voluntary projects, tours and a great deal of fun!

The contact telephone number is: (507) 619-6899 and the person in charge is Dacil Acevedo Riquelme, whose email is iavepanama@cableonda.net
