We present the experience of Iwith.org in the Global Forum UN-GAID

In March, 2008, Jordi Duran, president and CTO of Iwith.org, was invited to New York for sharing our experience in the UNGAID Global Alliance for ICT and Development Conference, using the slogan: “United Nations. Conference about the Web 2.0 – New media, new enterprising and new ICT opportunities in emerging markets”.


In this opportunity we will return to the UNGAID Conference in Monterrey – Mexico – to talk about educational innovation. In the “Global Forum 2009: ICT & Innovation for Education” conference, Ramon Bartomeus, Director of d'Iwith.org resources, will present our experience in Involving young people in Innovative Educational ICT Initiatives; a workshop moderated by IC volunteers, one of our strategic partners.



We will also be present in the WSA prize. The World Summit Award is the global initiative born in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) within the United Nations as a contribution for the Austrian Government to promote the innovation in the ICT field and the e-content, so as to improve the development. Iwith.org is a WSA member since 2004.


We will take this opportunity to work with one of our Mexican beneficiary, Paz correspondent, and to visit the Expoayuda fair looking for new supporters to improve the world by using the ICT.
