One Day on Earth: Help Document the World's Story

This is about an extraordinary project  aspiring to create an open shareable archive and documentary film of the world on 11/11/11. Global collaboration through media creation is the ultimate goal, on a scale never seen before.

The point is to highlight the amazing diversity, conflict, tragedy, and triumph that can occur in one day on our planet.

So how can the citizens of earth take an active part ?

All that needs to be done is opening a profile and uploading some unique content!

This content could be anything, but some ideas provided:
  • Share: Share your world with the world.
  • Create: Explore a subject or creative process you find inspiring.
  • Inspire Change: Expose a location or issue you feel could be improved.
  • Learn: Investigate an issue or topic you want to know more about

One thing to be aware of: all the participant footage needs to be recorded during 24, on 11/11/11. The clock is ticking so start getting ready to participate in something unique (and who knows you might even up having an appearance in the upcoming feature film). Here´s the starting point: http://www.onedayonearth.org

Finally, it is important to stress that One Day on Earth works closely with a high number of non profit organizations around the world in order to identify burning social issues to be documented. Non-profits have a dedicated page where they can sign up and become part of the project: http://www.onedayonearth.org/cause
