The Tools 2.0 for the Recruitment of Private Funds

On the 24th of May 2012, the Resources Center for the Juvenile Association of Barcelona and Torre Jussana- the Service Center to the Associations- will organize, with the participation of iWith.org, a cycle of informative sessions about private funding, with the objective of getting to know the financial alternatives to grants and to reflect about the recruitment of private funds.

The session started with the room filled with more than 60 people, a young public with a handful of veterans who utilize Twitter daily. The majority was linked to small juvenile organizations, but there were also some professionals of large entities.

The impeccable organization, documentation for the attendees, supplementary materials, timely information and the fingers on Twitter with the hashtag #privatefunding. One model of how to organize simple and practical things... I just wonder if the great interest shown also deserved a video streaming for the Internet users.

The majority of the attendees had already been in the previous session for The recruitment of private funds, a collective strategy of the work online! in charge of Civic Paloma, advisor of financing of CRAJ and Aina Vera, technical Jussana-Center Tower of Service to the Associations, which provided the theoretical basis and left the audience with much eager to repeat and deepend in practical cases.

During the presentation of the session "The 2.0 tools for the recruitment of private funds" Iexplained some resources, but above all, we saw how little-known entities had achieved important success by utlizing the crowdfunding platforms and a lot of imagination.

Then we went to the action, making a #gestELA for the Miguel Valls Foundation, we gave him the the jacket back following the initiative of  We Are This Way and we made a Teaming donation for the Roots and Shoots project of the Jane Goodall Institute.

As a whole, it was a collective experience constructed in the form of crowdsourcing from the interests expressed by the attendees befor the meeting.

In this same post you can see the presentation, a cut in the Twitter of the day and the #gestELA.
