The second Forum for Social Innovation is now a reality. Aimed at all individuals, non-profit organizations and companies linked to social entrepreneurship or innovation, the event is a learning tool that, among other things, proposes ideas to address the challenges of the future. This year, iWith.org is one of the promoters of the Forum, which has the theme ''Creativity, passion and participation to change the world''. About 300 participants are expected to attend the event.
iWith.org is one of the five founding partners of Red Creactiva, the organizer of this year’s event. Red Creactiva was created after the success of the first Forum for Social Innovation in 2014, organized by Jovesolides. The decision was made by Jovesolides itself, together with the organizations Fundación Esplai, Sinnergiak, the Instituto Valenciano de la Juventud and iWith.org. Red Creactiva is a forum where knowledge about social entrepreneurship can be shared and, as previously stated, this year it will be in charge of organizing the event.
At the Forum, iWith.org has been one of the organizations chosen to participate in the Speed Networking workshop and we’ll participate in energizing the Gigalab. The Forum will also have nine short sessions on social innovation, which have been classified by topic: politics, unemployment, sustainability in NGOs, housing, participation by citizens, economics, health, education and communication. The full programme is available on the Forum’s website.
The Second Forum for Social Innovation will be held on 21st and 22nd September at the Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. The registration fee is 75 euros and includes 2 nights of hotel accommodation, participation in the Forum, a meal on 21st September and three breaks during the event with refreshments. For participants who choose to travel to the Forum by train, a discount of 30% on Renfe will also apply. In addition, participants can choose between different modes of registration according to their own preferences. To do this, please look at the link below.
There are special prices for those who register in August, and the registration period will close when full capacity is reached. If you miss the date for registration, the Second Forum for Social Innovation can be followed on Twitter using the hashtag #Foro2IS.
We’ll be there and we want you to join us and take part in this key social innovation event.
