From a long time we are involved in an idea of crowdfunding. This financing option collects projects and gives an opportunity for realization thousands of useful causes, that can bring new, quality jobs, needed help and hope. It is a vision in which we believe.
The idea emerged as a result of the recent assessment of development assistance undertaken by the United Nations in Spain, ANUE. The course is oriented around case examples from Africa and includes some practical workshops to facilitate its understanding. ANUE is one of our organization beneficiaries and Ramon Bartemeus, Resource manager of Iwith.org will be facilitating one of the course workshops.
From the 30th to the 31st of January 2008, the Palacio de Congresos in Gijón, Asturias (Spain), will host “Cooperation towards Development 2.0: The First International Communication and Information Technology Conference for Cooperation towards Development”. An event uniting government, social and business sectors seeking to exchange knowledge and experiences with the aim of spanning digital gaps and promoting the use of ICTs in order to improve the methods and practices of cooperation towards development.
