 Green WiFi  Kiva
Allowing Internet access to developing nations is not an easy task. In most cases doesn’t exist an infrastructure enough (telephonic connections, electricity) that link far villages.

The Green WiFi project is a system that allows installing wide range wifi networks thanks to solar energy and to network management software specially designed to work just connecting to the solar light, with any other maintenance that keep clean the solar lens.

Kiva.org is an organization that lets lend to a specific entrepreneur in the developing world. The idea is that the netsurfer makes a loan, that can be of 25$, to a micro-entrepreneur’s project of his interest. This money is sent without charges to the entrepreneur, and he will refund it in some time to the netsurfer.

This loan doesn’t create interests for the netsurfer, but the entrepreneur pay the interest to finance the local agent infrastructure that identify, control and survey the entrepreneurs.
