As with every year, Iwith.org will be taking part in the Internet International Day. This year an international contest has been announced that is aimed at those organizations involved in the promotion of ICTs as valuable tools for making society better.
The III round of Internet Day Awards, which will take place on World Internet Day on the 17th May, proposes to acknowledge the efforts of people and institutions in bringing the information society closer to the people and in improving Internet accessibility. Read more...
Catalonians will officially certify their ICT user levels
The “ICT Card” will be a standard qualification that certifies the knowledge and proficiency as information and communications technology users (ICT). This document will be attached to resumes when sent out to companies and the authorities as well. Its implementation is expected in 2009.

In its mission to promote information and communications technologies as a tool for solidarity and for a better society, Iwith.org has launched its scholarships for training programme aimed at professionals and volunteers from third sector organisations.
Each course has 10 scholarships that cover the costs of registration and are specifically aimed at participants from small organisations.
