Because 60 new organizations have joined the Ab·core family and we are now 152.
Because a total of 2,224 users use the platform directly, with an average of 8.26 services per organization.
Because this year we have set up services such as links, quotes, extranet or the forms system which has been very well received.
Because today we have published the 1,111th news of our website, or the 389th of 2007. Because we sent out 29 newsletters and we have 630 subscribers.
Because the traffic on the website is nothing to be overlooked with 250,000 pages a month or 50,000 visits.
Because our Facebook group already has 124 members.

All of this has been possible thanks to the huge effort by all of you, the collaborators, friends, volunteers, donors and sponsors, which work intensely day after day to make it happen. We have a lot of work to do in 2008 which includes increasing organizations and scholarships, putting out new services and being in charge of organizing a grand world event in Barcelona which we will be telling you about…A lot of work, yes… but we can count on a lot of people like you who will help us to make it possible... Happy…

A Large Amount of Organizations and People have wished others a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with iwith.org

Thanks to our IV solidarity postcard contest almost 13 thousand people, organization members or individuals have received a simple and ecological greeting this year with a solidarity message from Iwith.org and the organizations that designed the cards. We now have the winner of the contest and we will know which postcard was sent the most after the 15th of January.

Mescladis, partner of Iwith.org, awarded for their initiative against unemployment

The restaurant, shop, and gastronomy workshop Mescladíshave been awarded with the 2007 award for their innovative initiative on the fight against unemployment, granted by Fundació Acció Solidaria contra l´Atur and Fundació Un Sol Mon.

We are more Idealists every day. And you, why are you waiting to join?

This is the conclusion that we came to after organizing this past 18th of December in iwith.org's Barcelona headquarters the Jornada de Presentación del Punt de Troabada. More than 70 people showed up to learn how the idealistas.org's space works which is located on the premises of our NGO. Don't forget that you, too, can visit it every Tuesday between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

After a lot of deliberating, the jury of Iwith.org's IV Christmas Postcard Contest has decided that the 2007 Winning Card is Navidad con Humor, by Luis Eduardo León, from Columbia.

How did you learn about our contest?
By Internet, I was looking for postcard topics and I found this treasure

Tell us about your professional trajectory, and of your objective to participate in our initiative

I am a graphic comedian; I have worked for UNICEF COLUMBIA editorials and press. My objective is to participate in this portal where education and creativity are promoted, and where doors are opened so that graphic humor is present.

What did you want to express with your design?

My humorous drawing, which I entered in the contest, shows the poverty in our regions where my people, as if in a box of cookies, assembled a stable but at the same time with the magic of December's spirituality a familiar love is present.

What is your opinion on the Iwith.org's initiative?

I like it because it supports minorities and people with limited resources in the world.
