First Alternative Channel Forum attended by a great number of assistants and high-level guests
The first ALTERNATIVE CHANNEL Forum on Social Networks and
Responsible Media, organized by Alternative Channel, was held on 30th April in Barcelona. This event met a great number of people who attended video workshops, presentations by different organizations and conferences from high level professionals belonging to international organizations, NGOs and mass media. It was to highlight the presence of the Peace Nobel Prize Rigoberta Menchú, who supported the forum and praised the step forward in the technological field and its contribution to the NGOs work. Ronald Franklin Castillo Florian, from Peru, has been the most downloaded book in the 2008 contest. As of 12 o'clock on 22 April there were more than two thousand clicks to download one of the 23 works posted on our web site. COOPERA is non governmental and non-commercial organisation, founded in 1994 in Logroño by the group of students and young professionals motivated to help developing the world and focused on innovations.
Iwith.org has made some services for NGOs disposal, which are the websites, campus for online education and the CRM for organising databases in internet.
New Forum Service: to promote dialogue and discussion
Coinciding with the
Alternative Channel Forum that Iwith.org co-organised, we have decided to launch a new service, the FORUM. We came up with this so that, in a simple format, we could initiate discussion, and exercise a control suited to our needs. In addition, there are tools for alerting people to fresh comments, statistics, filters and, obviously, customisation.
