Project Description
Eligibility to this program is conditional upon presentation of the following information:
. To provide a document attesting to its character as a nonprofit Organization, legally established according to its country’s legislation.
CCACDES acts as a promotional agent in the field of cooperation for development in agreement with international agendas, the national development plans on the national, departmental and municipal level and with the social agendas of the organized communities, through the management and support of processes be it on the official level (bilateral), multilateral (decentralized), regional (South-south) and the Third Sector (ONG’s and Civil Organizations). Also it provides support for the processes that in the field of development are generated through the Social Responsibility of the private sector.
The Center of Support to Cooperation for Development - CACDES supports the cooperation for development based on activities with an international, regional and local character. CACDES participates in the exchange of experiences and resources between nations, to attain common goals based on principles of solidarity, fairness, effectiveness and sustainability according to local necessities and the purposes of the international community such as the objectives of the Millennium. These aims enhance the promotion and development of appropriate methodologies for cooperation, as well as the management of resources according to the requirements of the proponents and the donors.
CACDES guides their activity in social processes while holding as transverse axes: the respect for human rights, social participation and democratic values, cultural diversity, genre equality, the protection and conservation of the environment and the rights of childhood and adolescence as its fundamental basis for development. Also, the results of its activity are focused on the improvement of the quality of life of people, families, groups, organizations and regions.
